COOKING

Overview
Using our own produce where available we also teach basic cookery skills from planning a recipe, gathering ingredients and finally cooking safely to produce homemade hearty, healthy foods.
Cooking not only engages the senses which can activate memories and boost your mood it also gives a sense of pride and achievement. Cooking therapy can help with a range of conditions such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders and ADHD. It not only teaches our young students vital skills for later life but also increases self-esteem, stress relief, socialisation, goal orientated behaviour and activates the creative process.
