Activities

Lane End Farm Trust offers a variety of engaging activities for disabled and disadvantaged young people, including animal care, horticulture, cooking, equine, dog grooming and Woodwork. These activities are designed to foster personal growth, practical skills, and a connection to nature in a supportive environment. The trust tailors its programs to meet individual needs and collaborates closely with schools to ensure enriching experiences.

Animal Care

This is an area we feel really benefits the young people because it teaches them about care, compassion and responsibility. We also see them develop in confidence and empathy, both with the animals and with other young people, staff and volunteers.

Events

We attend local summer fetes and Christmas fayres with our wonderful animals where you can come along and support us with raising funds.  We also visit schools and nursing homes enabling us to bring the therapeutic nature of what we do into the local community.

Some of our students are invited to join us on these days out which gives them a real boost to their confidence and allows them to meet new people and push boundaries of anxiety within a safe environment with the staff and animals.
